Our ethos is putting the client's needs first, which is probably one of the most overused statements going in our industry. However, for us, we mean it... this business was born from the feeling of accomplishment we get when we do our very best client work. It's why we exist - to do what we want to do - genuinely help our clients.
This is Ross, our Founder
Ross founded Thunder & Flash Marketing in 2025, after a 15 year career in marketing specialising in client relationship management. His drive and motivator has always been delighting clients, surpassing their expectations and being an integral part of his client's businesses. That ethos is embodied in Thunder & Flash Marketing and what we all take forward as we deliver client work.
Our mission: A marketing revolution
Our mission is to deliver marketing services that are informed by our client's real business challenges and not the 'gut feeling' a particular channel should be in the marketing mix.
This is not original and if anything it is responsible marketing 101, but it's not common. That makes our mission revolutionary, not new.
Why does this matter? It matters because our clients get marketing that is driven by real purpose, with a tangible outcome in mind. It gets results in our client's language, where the ROI is understood and expected.

While we work for our clients like any other marketing agency our operation is a little different.
Rather than a directly employed team, Thunder & Flash Marketing operates as a collective of freelance individuals and specialist teams, vetted for their skill-set, experience and unique abilities.
This means that unlike archetypical marketing agencies, we don't have the narrowed abilities of a specific team, we don't have the same overheads that bind us to high rates and we have the flexibility and agility to react and adapt quickly.
Operating in this way future-proofs Thunder & Flash Marketing in a volatile economy, but it also means that for our clients we can be cost effective, flexible and scalable. The best bit is that none of this comes at the cost of quality; in fact our collective model means that our clients get access to the very best talent in their field
Our name: What does it mean?
Everyone always asks what the name means and where it comes from.
Ross is a lifelong movie and a history fan, especially anything to do with WW2. One favourite movie, or series to be specific, was the HBO series Band Of Brothers. In one of the opening episodes, there is a call and response phrase that was used by the US forces to symbolise friendly troops approaching: "Thunder" would be called by one party, and "Flash" would follow if the other were allies. This stuck with Ross.
When it came to naming the business, Ross thought of this - not because it sounded cool - but because it is a rallying cry that represents allies in an uncertain and confusing environment.
Thunder & Flash is your safety phrase and something that makes you think 'ally'.
